Pre Alerts for Inwards Shipments

Lately, we have seen an increase in inwards shipments being alerted to us on the day before or even the day of the shipment arriving.

We need to be a bit more structured with our planning, eventually we will have a booking system in place, but for now it would be appreciated if you could follow the below rules when sending stock to the Fulfilment Centre. This will help streamline the process and ensure that we can process shipments as fast as possible.

  • All container deliveries
    • A PO needs to be loaded into CartonCloud as early as possible, and at a minimum 1 week before delivery.
    • All containers need to be booked in with the Cargo Plus Containers team (containers@cargoplus.co.nz) for delivery 1 week before arrival.
      • Please ask your Freight Forwarders to use Cargo Plus to deliver containers into our site, a lot of Forwarders already work with Cargo Plus and have the details needed.

 

  • Any international less than container deliveries
    • A PO needs to be loaded into CartonCloud as early as possible, and at a minimum 1 week before delivery.
    • If you would like us to co-ordinate the freight collection, please send details 1 week before hand to cs@fulfilmentplus.co.nz

 

  • Any local supplier deliveries
    • A PO needs to be loaded into CartonCloud as early as possible, and at a minimum 48 hours before delivery.
    • If you would like us to co-ordinate the freight collection, please send details  to cs@fulfilmentplus.co.nz. There is a cut off of 1pm for booking local Auckland jobs for the next day.

 

A couple of notes as well that will help with deliveries.

  1. We share the site with our sister company Cargo Plus, and as a rule all containers that are coming onsite need to be delivered by a Cargo Plus truck. This helps with co-ordinating grid spaces, timing and dehire.
  2. Any LCL delivery drivers need to check in at the freight window on site to get directions for their drop off
  3. Drop off and collection times are 9am to 2pm Monday to Friday.
  4. All incoming shipments should be labelled clearly with the PO number that is loaded in CartonCloud, and addressed with your Company Namr c/o Fulfilment Plus
